Masculine and feminine in Arabic

هل فُهِمَتَ ؟ did you  understand?
This question   for males   because of using the masculine  sign which is dash on top of taa
(Fatah ( 
  Females  be underneath 
فُهِمَتِ
 For  other verbs 
سَمِعْتَ  Male,   you hear ?

سَمِعْتِ for females 
أَنْتَ  you  )(

أَنْتِ female
