Hello, I am a native English speaker (British) and have been teaching English since 2008. I am Celta and Delta qualified and am a trained Cambridge speaking examiner. I have lots of experience with general and business English at all ages and levels. I have taught monolingual and multilingual classes in many countries including Ecuador, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Australia. I am bilingual, I speak Spanish fluently. I studied French and German at school and have picked up some Portuguese over the years. I am currently learning Italian. My teaching demeanor is friendly, calm, professional and patient. I have a wide range of interests including: travelling, cooking, photography, psychology, philosophy, science, politics, health and fitness, business and art. I tailor my lessons so that they reflect my students' needs, wants and interests. I am looking forward to helping more students improve their English.

Most English lessons focus on grammar or repeating phrases you’ll never actually use. Your real problems are different: you get stuck mid-sentence, you can’t find the right word, or you hesitate because you don’t trust what you’re saying. Maybe you describe something awkwardly, or use a word that’s “almost right” — and it breaks the flow. In our lessons, we just talk — but this isn’t a waste of time. We focus on the topics, conversations, and situations that matter to you right now. When you get stuck, I give you the right word or phrase in the moment so you can keep speaking naturally. We don’t stop for long explanations — we keep the conversation alive and real. Over time, these moments stack up into language you actually own, because you needed it for something real. You’ll stop second-guessing yourself and start speaking English with confidence.
