关于我

I am a native-speaking English teacher currently living in Hawaii. I have a CELTA certification through the University of Cambridge (Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults). I work with students to improve their skills in general English within a customized learning plan. Additionally, I teach IELTS/FCE/TOEFL test prep.

I teach English to adults with some background in the language (pre-intermediate - advanced). I taught ESL in Ecuador for 3 years to students of all ages and proficiencies. Currently, I teach environmental and food education to elementary students.

My teaching style empowers the student to speak as much as possible and not be afraid to make mistakes while using elements of guided-discovery. We will focus on pronunciation, practicing colloquial English, grammatical structures, expanding vocabulary, and improving on all general English skills: reading, speaking, listening, and writing.

The lessons will be structured to help with whatever the student’s personal needs and interests are. I strive to create a compassionate learning environment where the student feels comfortable and consistently improves their fluency.
