I am a qualified TEFL (Teach English as a First Language) teacher of 6 years. I am currently living in Slovakia but I am originally from the UK. I have taught in group settings and one to one but I prefer one to one tutoring as I feel it is the most beneficial for the students.
My teacher style is relaxed and fun but I adapt to my students so that they can learn English to the best of their ability. My lessons are well planned and student orientated. I ask students what sort of activities they prefer or feel they learn best in eg speaking, writing etc and then centre any learning around this and your personal English learning goals.
I am comfortable teaching beginner to advanced. Additionally, I am also happy to proof read and edit essays/papers along with business emails, presentations and CV's. I can also help with idioms and American and English slang if this is something you'd like to explore.
I have been doing 1-2-1 tutoring over the last few years part time whilst I have been working and studying. I enjoy helping others to open doors through learning English. Thanks for taking the time to read this and reserve a lesson with me to start speaking and learning English now.
