关于我

My name is Augar Khoshaba. I'm originally from Iraq, and currently living in the United States. I have a Master's degree in TESOL and have an extended experience working with students of different proficiency levels, backgrounds and age groups. As a Fulbright foreign language teacher and cultural ambassador, I taught Arabic language and culture communicatively and interactively to American students at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York. I also taught and tutored American students at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in California. In addition to Arabic, I also taught business, general, and survival English to Iraqis and foreigners in different countries.

I utilize a variety of interactive tools in my teaching to ensure an authentic, fun, and communicative learning experience. I will help you take your Arabic skills, and more importantly your knowledge of the Arab world to the next level, since culture plays a huge role in language development. I will work with you to assess your language needs, and tailor my lessons according to your proficiency level and learning style.
