Hi future students! My name is Florrie, I am a native British English speaker from the beautiful city of Oxford.
I have been teaching English since 2014 to students of various levels and ages in both Spain and most recently at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City, one of the top universities in Latin America.
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree and an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages and have been turning my hand to teaching both private and group classes ever since. I have also myself been living in Mexico for the last six years, so I know myself what it is to be a language learner and which strategies work the best when it comes down to real life interactions in the language you are learning.
I've had my fair share of embarrassing language learning moments so I like to keep a relaxed atmosphere in my classes. Language learning should above all be fun and a source of pleasure, as well as being functional rather than purely based on books and endless repetition. Please feel free to contact me with any doubts or queries, I am very happy to adapt my classes to your language learning needs!
I have also had lots of experience tutoring in certifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, CAE, FCE etc. Hope to see you soon in class!
