I am a native English speaker from Australia. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, a Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education majoring in Media and English as an Additional Language/Dialect. I am now a 'real' teacher and work in a high-school in Australia.
I have a sense of humour and endeavour to always make my students feel comfortable and engaged.
What I can do:
I can help you achieve a high band score for your IELTS (general and academic) for study or immigration purposes.
I can improve your English skills to help you gain employment or advance in the workplace.
I can help you achieve higher marks at University by understanding tasks and requirements.
I can help you understand the different styles of English, eg. American, Australian, British.
I can help you with grammar, eg. tenses, prepositions, articles.
My usual class format starts with chit-chat, reading comprehension exercises (similar to IELTS), pronunciation activities and grammar tasks.
