Hello! My name is Kellyn Yamashita. I am nikkei, the daughter of a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother. I grew up in Japan and I’m passionate about anime! I love spending time with my pets and believe that life is made of joyful moments.
I truly love the work I do here! Teaching allows me to meet amazing people from different nationalities and talk about their cultures, which helps me learn something new every day.
Over the years, I have made many friends through this job, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to teach and connect with people from all over the world! 💕
Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and effective! My lessons are personalized to meet each student's needs, whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner.
I focus on:
✅ Clear explanations – I make complex topics easy to understand
✅ Practical conversation – Speak with confidence in real situations
✅ Interactive learning – Fun activities, exercises, and real-world examples
✅ Cultural insights – Learn not just the language, but also the culture!
I always encourage my students to speak as much as possible in class, because I believe that the best way to learn a language is by using it. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment, where you can make mistakes, learn from them, and grow!
