Beyond studies and experience (which you can read below), what makes a good language teacher? I have no doubts: enthusiasm, empathy, patience and sense of humor. Without these four attributes, any robot could be a better teacher than me, am I right?
I studied a master's degree at University of Barcelona in 2013 and another course at International House in 2014 to specialize as a teacher of Spanish as a second language.
My passion for teaching hasn't done anything else but increasing. I love helping people all over the world to learn the language and to understand my culture. But, above all, both the students and me have fun during the lesson. Learning a language is impossible if you don't feel at ease and happy. Laughing is our most valuable tool to learn.
Regarding the type of lessons, it is up to you: we can focus on practicing conversation, we can follow a textbook, prepare an official exam, improve your listening comprehension... I have hundreds of activities prepared for all levels and we can adapt them to your learning pace.
