I am a Korean language educator and the author of *Korean Linguistics for Learners*, a five-book series exploring Korean through sound, word formation, grammar, meaning, and pragmatics.
My teaching goes beyond memorizing rules and textbook expressions. I help learners understand how Korean is structured, how meaning is built, and how the language naturally sounds and flows in communication.
**My Approach**
**Sound & Rhythm:** Understand Korean pronunciation, sound changes, rhythm, intonation, and connected speech.
**Structure & Meaning:** Discover how Korean words, sentences, and expressions are built—and why they mean what they mean.
**Cross-Linguistic Perspective:** Gain deeper insight through comparisons with English, Chinese, and other languages.
**Hanja & Vocabulary:** Explore Sino-Korean vocabulary through Hanja roots and meaningful connections.
**Beyond Memorization**
Language is more than a collection of rules. My goal is to help you develop an internal sense of how Korean works, so that understanding gradually becomes natural use.
