PREPARA UNA TORTA DI MELE

Bake an apple pie

I love the English verb TO BAKE!
In Italian language we don't have any verb that is perfectly equivalent to it.
We could say INFORNARE but that would only be the singolar action of putting a dough into the hot oven.
So when it comes to baking we could translate it with verb PREPARARE (to prepare), that works for any kind of food that is processed in order to be cooked or served.
That involves a series of actions from raw ingredients to delicious dishes: in this case from flour (FARINA), eggs (UOVA), butter (BURRO), sugar (ZUCCHERO) and apples (MELE) to apple pie (TORTA DI MELE) :-D

RESPIRA A PIENI POLMONI

Take a deep breath

RESPIRARE (to breath) is what keeps us alive, and it happens more than 23 thousands times a day, mostly involuntarily.
"Respirare a pieni polmoni" however is a different story: it happens when we put intention on our breath and make sure that our lungs have received their maximum in terms of oxygen (OSSIGENO).
This image can also be used when we want to deeply live a moment of joy (gioia), happiness (felicità) and wellness (benessere): usually that is not spontaneous; we must remember to do so!
