I’m Juan Francisco, I’m a writer and Spanish teacher based in Mexico City. I write fiction and essays, and contribute regularly to some of Mexico’s leading art magazines. I believe in learning languages through works of art, attentive reading and listening, and real conversations about topics that move us. Staying attuned to the cultural life of the city and the country—its literature, film, exhibitions, politics, and history—is vital to me, and I enjoy bringing that perspective into my lessons.
I work especially well with students who are eager to engage with Mexican and Latin American culture in a deeper way. Whether you're interested in literature, politics, cinema, history, or everyday life in Mexico City, our sessions can become a space for thoughtful exchange. I come from the country with the biggest amount of Spanish speakers in the world, Mexico! I would love to help you learn or practice Spanish. I have been teaching Spanish for 10 years, I have taught people from all over the world in many different countries.

Hola, mi nombre es Elena.
Soy española nativa de la zona de Levante español, concretamente nací en Valencia, capital de la Comunidad Valenciana.
Mi enfoque para que aprendas y lleves tu español al más alto nivel está dividido en varias partes:
1. Si necesitas aprender gramática para mejorar tu español y usarlo de forma correcta, escrito y hablado.
2. Si necesitas aprender conversación y pronunciación para viajar a España y a paises de habla hispana.

My name is Silvia and I will be glad to be your teacher. I am from Madrid but I'm always travelling and this website offers me the chance to keep moving while I still do what I love: teaching. I've been teaching English and Spanish since I finished my degree in Education almost 10 years ago. I've worked with groups and private lessons, teaching kids, teenagers and adults.
My teaching style is trying to get you involved and avoid boring lessons where teachers only use a grammar book. So I would choose to teach you everything while we are just having a chat, listening to music and watching videos together. Of course you will need some writing exercises and some theory to study, but you can do that on your own (I'll give you the materials) and then we can review it together.
