It’s not always easy to leave your child with someone new, even if they have a nice profile and good reviews. If someone wanted to build a website or app where parents could find babysitters and nannies, what would be the most important things to focus on? Would background checks and references be enough, or would parents also want video calls, verified reviews, and a way to talk to other families who have worked with the same person? I’m also curious about how you would make the platform safe for babysitters, since they need to know that the families they meet are genuine too. How should things like cancellations, payments, and last-minute changes be handled? And for anyone who has experience using or building this kind of marketplace, what do you think makes people feel comfortable enough to actually use it instead of relying on recommendations from friends or family?
