Hello! I'm Laura, and before moving to Guam, I lived in beautiful Alaska for six years and northeastern Thailand for three years. Before living in Thailand, I lived and taught in Maryland. I have been teaching for 15 years both online and in person. I am passionate about creating custom lessons in order to help students achieve their goals. I specialize in academic writing, conversational English, and test preparation for adults and teens. I also love to travel and learn new things about the world we live in. I look forward to working with you to create a custom learning experience! No Show Policy: The classroom will be open to join for 15 minutes after the start of the lesson. I have a B,A. in Biology and a M.A. in Math Education. I taught math, science and computers for 21 years at the junior high and high school levels and I taught computers to business students at the college level.. Once I retired, I began teaching English to students since I moved to Mexico and people were asking for help with their language skills. I am learning a new language so I understand the difficulties people face and that makes me a compassionate and caring teacher. I also have a great sense of humor.

Hello everyone! I am teacher from the USA who is passionate about teaching English as a second language. I always look forward to delivering the best lessons that I can and I always do my best to try and learn from each and every experience. I graduated from University back in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. From there I decided I wanted to travel a bit and looked at ways in which I could do that. I came across the idea of teaching English as a second language. I decided to get a CELTA certification because I read about how prestigious is is in the ESL world.
