Teaching Chinese is my passion. I am very responsible, detail-oriented and skilled in time management. I am very patient and would love to share my native language with you. I have been teaching for over 17 years and have taught one-on-one lessons to more than 400 international students varying in age and levels. Teaching in universities has contributed a lot to my ability to teach a class efficiently, communicate well, control the environment and adjust properly to meet the students’ needs. Most people who don't know me "well enough" don't recognized. Staring and focusing on one same thing for long time is difficult for me. I basically wake up with 0% battery if not minus. After each lesson, I'm drained, (if not dead) not personal to anyone. It's just my body and brain want and need to shut down. My name is June. I am a Chinese native speaker from Taiwan and I have been teaching Chinese for 4 years. In the class, the main language will be Mandarin, which I will speak mostly Mandarin and the students will do the same. The beginner lesson will be arranged like this as well. This will help you start understanding a language without doing the translation process. For my background, I was born and raised in Taiwan. I speak Mandarin with the standard Taiwan Mandarin accent.
