Hello, my name is Andrew. I am from Rochester, near London (UK). I have taught English in Japan, Spain, France and UK. My experience covers general conversation, structured lessons and Cambridge exam preparation. My qualifications include: BA (Hons) Business Studies , Professional certificate in Primary Education, TESOL Trinity certificate and IELTS preparation certificate (speaking).
In my classes, I like to include grammar, informal English, idioms, proverbs, pronunciation, text analysis and I also try to include culture. I think it's important that students speak more than me and I will always give corrections in verbal and written form at all times during the class.
During the trial class, we can talk about the type of lessons that you would like.
My interests are: jogging, cycling, martial arts, football and cricket. I have recently completed the English Football Association level 1 coaching course and the basic referee course.
So, if you need English for work, job interviews, university entry, travel or just for fun I would be happy to help you.
