Merhaba! Hello!
This is Sibel from Turkey, İstanbul. I am here to help you with your Turkish! I studied English Language and Literature at İstanbul University. After my graduation, my South America and teaching journey started. I went to Peru as a teacher. This was when I realized that I was born to teach. It was amazing to know that I was making a difference for my students. So, after Peru, I went to Colombia as a volunteer and worked in libraries there. As I have been to more than 35 countries I have very interesting life experiences.
I have a certificate from Yıldız Technical University for teaching Turkish as a foreign language. As I was born and raised in İstanbul, I do not have any accent. Istanbul Turkish is the most neutral one.
Moreover, I have been working as a university instructor for 6 years and I teach English, Turkish and Spanish there. I love my job! My classroom is my stage so I have so much fun while teaching and love spending time & sharing experiences with my students. I believe language teaching is something more than grammar rules. A student should have fun while learning.
I am here for you to learn Turkish & Turkish culture and have fun at the same time.
