Hi. My name is Shaun, and I am from the rainbow nation South Africa. I am a native English speaker, and I have been teaching English ever since I finished university twenty four years ago. I have taught English at school and university level, as well as privately and online. I have extensive experience in helping student prepare for the IELTS and TOEfl exam. (#Please note that I don't teach children, only adults.)
Most the students that I have taught speak English as a second language. In fact, because I live in Africa, most of my day-to-day conversations are with people who speak English as a second language so I am used to talking to people who sometimes find speaking or writing English a little bit difficult.
I am a relaxed and easy-going person person by nature, and that is how I like to teach. I am very patient and I like to include humor in my classes as I believe that laughter is the true international language.
Our lessons together will be designed for your specific needs. We can simply practice everyday conversations together, or we can do more advanced lessons in writing or reading English. The choice is yours.
