Γεια σας! I’m Sofia, a passionate Greek tutor and native speaker with a deep love for both modern and ancient Greek. Holding a BA and MA in Classics from Greece and abroad, I specialize in making Greek accessible and engaging—whether you’re chatting over coffee or deciphering Homer.
I have a wide-ranging and substantial (10+ years) teaching track record. Specifically, since June 2020, I have taught over 4000 lessons in Ancient and Modern Greek language to children and adults from all over the world.
I have helped 200+ learners achieve fluency in Greek, and my students so far have achieved a 100% success rate at the Greek language proficiency exams (Certification of Attainment in Greek).
I specialize in teaching Greek to:
1) Partners of Greeks
2) Greeks of the diaspora
3) Students who prepare for the Certification of Attainment in Greek
4) People with a deep interest in the Greek language, literature, and culture
