About Me: Your European Portuguese Teacher:
I am a dedicated European Portuguese teacher with a genuine passion for helping students reach their language learning goals. As an experienced and certified instructor in both Portuguese and English, I have been teaching in the public school system since 1995. Over the past seven years, I have also delivered engaging online lessons to students of various backgrounds and levels.
Teaching Philosophy:
I firmly believe that "practice makes perfect"—the more you actively use a language, the more confident and fluent you will become. While I always prepare a well-organized sequence of learning materials, I make it a priority to tailor each lesson to the unique needs and interests of every student. This personalized approach ensures that learning is both motivating and effective.

• Guiding absolute beginners with no prior knowledge of Portuguese
• Preparing students for official exams such as CIPLE, DIPLE, DEPLE, and DUPLE
• Teaching business Portuguese for professional environments
• Enhancing communication skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Group Lessons:
I am available to teach small groups of two, such as families or friends. This approach makes learning Portuguese enjoyable and interactive. My teaching style is designed to help learners unlock natural, everyday conversations, so that communicating in Portuguese feels effortless and approachable.
