Are you looking for a teacher that specializes in interviews, professional development, or academic success? Congratulations, you found me!
During the past 9 years as an ESL Trainer, I have given thousands of hours of lessons, writing instruction, and workshops, working with hundreds of diverse students, both online and in physical classrooms. This includes Verbling, as well as many other platforms.
I have earned my 120-hour TESOL Certificate, from ITTT, where the coursework is 100% interchangeable with their 120-hour TEFL Certificate. I have also completed a Certification for Teaching Business English from ITTT.
About my teaching style:
I customize every lesson for every student, to help you learn in the best way that works for you. If you require pronunciation work, we may have free-flowing conversations about your interests, or things you need to know for work purposes. During these conversations, we would stop whenever a pronunciation issue needs correcting.
Aside from interview preparation, I also teach general English skills, such as grammar, pronunciation, appropriate uses of slang and idioms, and building student confidence. I also do tandem proofreading work, from simple exercises up to PhD level papers/articles.
My students and I periodically reevaluate their progress, and if there is an area where they are weak, or want to focus on, we adjust and accordingly.
I enjoy working with students motivated by the idea of self-improvement.
