日本(にほん)のクリスマス

みなさん、日本人(にほんじん)のクリスマスの過ごし(すごし)かた
を知って(しって)いますか?

今日(きょう)は にほんのクリスマスについて紹介(しょうかい)します。

1.恋人(こいびと)と過ごす(すごす)
  
  みなさんはクリスマスは誰(だれ)と過ごし(すごし)ますか?
  家族(かぞく)ですかですか?友達(ともだち)ですか?
  日本(にほん)では恋人(こいびと)とロマンチックなデートを
  して過ごす(すごす)人(ひと)が多い(おおい)です。
  
  
2.クリスマスケーキとフライドチキン
  
  クリスマス料理といえば、デコレーションされたクリスマスケーキ
  とフライドチキンです。
  クリスマスには必ずこのひたつを食べて(たべて)いました。
  
3.子供(こども)にはクリスマスの当日(とうじつ)の朝(あさ)、枕元(まくらもと)  にプレゼントを1つだけ置いて(おいて)おく。
  
わたしも子供の頃(こどものころ)、朝(あさ)目覚める(めざめる)と枕元(まくらもと)にプレゼントが置かれて(おかれて)いました。

みなさんはどのようにクリスマスを過ごし(すごし)ますか?
国(くに)によって過ごし(すごし)かたは かなり違う(ちがう)と思い(おもい)ます。

Hello! My name is Miwa, and my family home is on Sado Island, a small and beautiful island in Japan. My father’s family has been rice farmers there for over 200 years. It’s a peaceful village where people live close to nature, helping each other with rice and vegetable farming. Every year, the community holds a traditional festival at the local shrine to pray for a good harvest—one of the traditions I treasure deeply. Now I live in Auckland, New Zealand, where I experience very different cultures and values. Living abroad has deepened my appreciation for Japan, and I would love to share not only the Japanese language but also our daily life, culture, and values with you. I have been teaching Japanese for over 7 years, working with both beginners and advanced learners from all over the world.
