Hola, todos. Estaré de vacaciones hasta el día 9 de agosto. Voy a volver con las pilas cargadísimas para seguir practicando español con todos ustedes. ¡Hasta pronto! Hello! My name is Gema, I am a Mexican living in England. I am patient and a good listener with a typically Mexican friendly and outgoing personality. During my schooling I attended a bilingual school (Spanish-English). I also attended a Translator and Interpreter college where I learnt other languages. I have lived in Italy for 26 years where I have worked as an Interpreter/Translator at International Trade Fairs. I consider Italian as my "second native" language and I consider myself a LANGUAGE LEARNER. At every opportunity that I practice other languages I keep learning new words and linguistic or cultural concepts. I understand the struggle involved and the difficulties faced when trying to raise the level. On the other hand, I know how good it feels when you are finally able to understand a song or the news, or...
My name is Sergio and as I mentioned in the video I am from Málaga, in the south of Spain but right now I am living in Riga, Latvia; where I have been teaching Spanish in a language center since 2014. I dont like to hide that I had never planned to be a teacher. I graduated in Business Administration but after some time working in an office I understood it wasn't for me. And then my first opportunity to teach Spanish arrived, I started to teach in a language centre in Riga. In 2015 I moved to Hamburg where I started a small project to teach Spanish called Hola Hamburg. After some months away, my previous students from Riga proposed me to keep teaching them on Skype, and bit a bit I started to get new students in that way. Despite I really like teaching online, I feel that I am lucky to be able to keep working in the language center and the university to get the perfect mix of these two pieces of teaching experience. My biggest concern is the education and training, last yea...
**Info for new students** I have a lovely baby boy and I am still adapting as a new mom, but I love teaching, so I will do my best to be always on time and have a proper 1-hour lesson, but I just need my students to understand and be patient in case there's an inconvinience. See you soon! ** I was born in Mexico City, but apparently I was born with the need of seeing the world, so I've been moving around since I was 22. I lived in Spain and in Russia, but now I'm back in my beautiful Mexico. I love writing and meditating. These aren't my hobbies, they are my passion. I am also a proud published author of a romantic novel. I have studied languages all my life so I understand the challenge and sometimes the frustration. In my classes we will focus on making it fun and I will make you speak as much as I can, even if you are a beginner. That's how you learned to speak your mother tongue, so we will do the same. I will also use part of our class to teach you grammar, vocabulary, and ...
