I purely enjoy every single lesson and love talking with each and every student. They are all keen to learn and make me realise lots of new things. I am a teacher but at the same time, I learn lots from my students too. I love having one on one lessons since I can see the students' progress well and improve each student's weakness. 🌸I have travelled to 30 different countries. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I have been living away from Japan for many years now but I read and watch Japanese news and programs a lot daily so my Japanese is up to date (Our language is always updated with ne...
🌸🌸🌸 こんにちは。Konnichiwa! 🌸🌸🌸 Are you interested in the Japanese language/culture or planning to go to Japan? I am an experienced and qualified Japanese language teacher. I've been teaching the Japanese language as a second language since 2008. I studied English and currently learning Spanish, so I know exactly what the challenges (and rewards!) of learning a language are like. I also work as a translator. My student's ages range from 8 to 86 years old. I love teaching as it is great to getting know different cultures, meet people, and amazing to see the students improve their Japanese language abilities and be able to communicate in Japanese. A little bit about myself: I like playing board games & video games, watching movies & anime, eating, traveling, and I own a Japanese Spitz. 🐶 NOTE: If you're interested in working with me, please book a 30-minute trial lesson first. Also, I would love to hear about your language goals (or anything else you think I should know), so feel free to ...

I was born in Japan and studied in Canada and USA. When I was studying music in LA, I met Brazilian music and a couple of years later I went to Brazil and met my husband. I didn't know how to speak Portuguese at that time, I only knew how to sing in Portuguese, but from the very first day of Brazil I learned how to have fun and communicate with people without knowing much of the theory and vocabulary. It was just like how people learn jazz. There's a theory behind, but the most importantly we should feel and improvise. And to understand the theory, you first should listen, listen and listen. So my learning and teaching method can be a little unique. It's not like the traditional way that we all know, which you read, write, and listen to the explanations, instead, I want you to feel it. It's important to study and understand the grammar and try to memorize as much vocabularies as you can, but you can't forget to have fun, and you can't memorize things by just reading and thinking lo...
I am a "Nisei-Nikkei" (born and raised in Mexico descended from Japanese parents-second generation). I have lived in the USA and Canada, but most of my life in Mexico. I have had several English, Japanese, and Spanish conversation groups while I was a college student. I used to work at some international companies in different positions. I think that the best way to learn other languages is by practicing, and there is no more rewarding and funny way to practice than talking!
