Hello! I am Sam from London and I am a CELTA-qualified teacher with 6 years' experience working privately with adults from intermediate to advanced level. I specialise in Pronunciation and I can help you recognise sounds (with your ears and the phonetic symbols), physically and technically produce them in your mouth and I can also show you the rules that we have to choose the right sound based on the spelling of the word. English pronunciation and grammar have a lot of very quick tricks to understand the logic of the language, and that is exactly what I like teaching, so once you have mastered those elements, you can focus on expanding your ability to express yourself accurately and in a more varied and colourful way, which is what makes languages fun. I speak Italian (bilingual), German and Spanish and I know how our mind works when learning a different language, and I will use that to your advantage in our lessons. I will challenge you with specific grammar and vocabulary games that will help you notice and remember how English is structured, so you can use it with no fear or hesitation.
