Hello! My name is Ben. I am a TEFL-certified Native English Teacher with nearly 15 years experience. I taught in a classroom setting in South Korea for many years, and am now teaching on Verbling from my home in the United States.
The most common kind of lesson plan I use includes:
1. Everyday English - We will ask each other common everyday English questions such as "What time is it?", "What day is it today?", and "How's the weather?"
2. Reading (+vocabulary, comprehension, and discussion)
-We will take turns reading a book or news article. I have many different books and articles for all reading levels.
3. Conversation (topical or casual) - We will take turns asking each other questions about any topic, or we can just have an open conversation.
We can incorporate writing, listening, spelling, dictation, exam practice, or interview preparation as needed.

We will practice a bit of either reading, conversation, or both so that I can assess your English level further. I will then give you my assessment of how I can help you improve your English skills.
