About Me
I am a Japanese teacher with over 10 years of experience and more than 12,000 hours of online lessons. I am a native Japanese speaker, fluent in Chinese, proficient in upper-intermediate English, and conversational in Thai. I have supported professionals from various fields, including engineers from Fortune 500 and S&P 500 tech companies, lawyers, university professors and researchers, interpreters, company owners, global consultants, entrepreneurs, embassy officers, and military personnel. Many of my students have been learning with me for years. I take pride in providing personalized instruction tailored to each learner’s needs!

Me as a Teacher
In every session, I strive to follow the approach of "teaching a man to fish for a lifetime instead of giving him a fish for a day," fostering independent learning and long-term skill development. This approach is inspired by my experiences of learning foreign languages while living in cities like Beijing, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Istanbul, and Vientiane, which helped me understand the challenges of language acquisition. I am committed to helping you enrich your career and personal life through learning Japanese. Most of my students have regular weekly slots, so my availability is limited. However, feel free to contact me to discuss your preferred time, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
My lessons & teaching style
I am highly flexible with lesson styles to suit each student’s preferences, covering beginner to advanced grammar, conversation, JLPT test preparation, business Japanese, and writing. Some students enjoy reading articles or watching videos with me to enhance their reading and listening skills while learning to express their thoughts clearly and effectively in Japanese. Depending on the student’s needs, I can provide explanations in Chinese or English and highlight grammar comparisons between these languages. My lessons are always conducted in a respectful and friendly atmosphere, so there’s no need to feel nervous—let’s enjoy learning Japanese together!
