About Me
— Professional Experience
With over a decade of experience across three countries, I specialize in helping students bridge the gap between "knowing English" and "speaking it fluently." I currently teach ESL in a Massachusetts public high school, working primarily with Spanish speakers, though I have extensive experience with learners from all backgrounds.
When you book a lesson with me, you aren’t just getting a tutor—you are getting a professional educator with the expertise to identify your specific roadblocks and help you overcome them.
⚡ MARCH SPECIAL: To celebrate the new season, I am offering a limited-time rate of $20/hour for the month of March! Let’s get to work on your goals. ⚡
— Education & Background
I hold a Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from Framingham State University. My approach is rooted in the major theories of language acquisition and years of on-site research. I understand the science of how people learn, and I apply that expertise to every session to ensure you see real progress.
— Beyond the Classroom
I’m a lifelong traveler and a musician. I’ve lived in Rome, volunteered with the Diverbo program in Spain, and spent extensive time in Latin America. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me playing guitar, hiking, or cooking. I know firsthand how intimidating it can be to learn a new language, and I bring that empathy into every lesson.
— My Commitment to You
To provide the highest quality of instruction for all my students, I maintain a professional 24-hour rescheduling policy. This allows me to dedicate my full energy and preparation to every student on my calendar.
I look forward to seeing you in class!
