Learning Greek is a magical journey to a fascinating culture. Delicious foods, adventurous history, exotic beaches, crazy people and this deep sense of unpredictability.
I adore the Greek History and Culture and i have been teaching Greek as a foreign language for years. We will have amazing time together and i have no doubt that my experience will help you master the language fast.
By the way, i am Stefanos, 28 years old and i love multicultural environments! I have traveled a lot, i have lived abroad (in the best city of the world, Helsinki) and i am really passionate meeting new people from all over the world.
I have studied Greek Language and Literature in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since i was a kid, i knew i would become a teacher. I love sharing my knowledge with other people than just making academic research for years.
I started working as a Greek Language Teacher for a company based in Athens that had hundreds of international employees from all over the world and my duty was to teach them Greek fast and efficiently. I had students of all the levels (A1-C2) and various groups and the lessons were online in order to save time for the students.
Since then, i have taught the Greek Language to hundreds of students.
My teaching philosophy:
-Speaking is essential. You CAN'T learn a language without speaking. So speaking will be the top priority.
-Grammar has to be taught clearly and in an easy way, however Grammar should not prevent the student from speaking. The main purpose is to be able to communicate.
-Reading is also a vital part of every lesson in order to boost the vocabulary and become familiar with Greek texts.
-Homework will be provided after each lesson.
-Listening exercises will be also given as Homework.
-Writing is a great way for further improving for command on the Greek language regardless if you are a beginner or a fluent speaker.
