As a native German speaker living near Cape Town, South Africa, since 2002, I’ve been passionate about sharing my home language with both local and international learners. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching German in various settings and working with diverse individuals from all walks of life.
From 2010 to 2014, I hosted my own German-language show on HelderbergFM 93.6 and continue to lend my voice to various projects as a voiceover artist. My lifelong love of languages led me to study English, French, Spanish, Afrikaans, and isiXhosa at university, though my main focus remains on German and English - two widely spoken languages that open doors to rich cultures and global opportunities.
In 2008, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Cape Town. Professionally, I spent over a decade working in customer service and accounts for a German television provider based in South Africa (2006–2020), where I gained valuable experience supporting clients and managing communications.
Today, I work independently as a translator, scriptwriter, voiceover artist, and virtual assistant, collaborating with clients both locally and abroad. I'm also a proud member of SATI (the South African Translators’ Institute).
