Hi! My name is Max. I’m a native Japanese speaker from Kobe, Japan and I can’t wait to be your Japanese teacher. When I was in high school, I had a chance to study abroad. I went to the United States and graduated from high school and university. There, I majored in Linguistics and learned how to teach English. I was working as a recruiter hiring non-Japanese people who are interested in working in Japan and Japanese people who were studying overseas wanting to get a job when they return. I was also a trainer helping people to become a teacher. So, I love traveling! I have lived and worked in LA, Chicago and NYC in the past. I have traveled to many other countries.
I have started teaching as a teaching assistant in Japanese classes when I was going to college. For the last 20 years, I've been helping new employees to get adjusted to their lives in Japan.
