Are you interested in learning Japanese, exploring Japanese culture, or planning a trip to Japan? I'd love to help you on your Japanese language journey!
I'm an experienced and qualified Japanese language teacher, and I've been teaching Japanese as a second language since 2008.
Having studied English myself and currently learning Italian, I understand first-hand the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. I know that every student learns differently, so I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, engaging and tailored to your individual needs. 👩🎓📚✏️
Why I love teaching
One of the things I love most about teaching is meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their cultures. It's especially rewarding to see my students grow in confidence, improve their Japanese skills and, most importantly, become able to communicate naturally in Japanese.
A little about me
Outside teaching, I enjoy playing video games, board games and card games, watching movies and anime, trying different foods, and travelling. I'm also a big dog lover and absolutely adore my two Japanese Spitz! 🐶💖🐶

24-Hour Cancellation Policy
To be fair to all students and ensure lesson times are managed properly, please take a moment to read my cancellation policy below.
1. Cancellations (More than 24 hours' notice)
You may cancel a booked lesson free of charge, provided you do so more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
2. Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours' notice)
If you need to cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours' notice, please send me a message instead of using the cancel/reschedule button.
As I require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations, the lesson credit used for that booking will unfortunately be forfeited.
3. Late Arrivals
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notifying me, you will be considered absent, and the full lesson fee will be charged.
If you know you are going to be late, please send me a message as soon as possible. I'll be happy to wait a little longer! :)
4. Missed Lessons
If you miss a booked lesson without prior notice, the lesson credit used for that booking will be forfeited.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation. I appreciate your respect for my time, just as I respect yours.

The trial lesson is a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your Japanese learning goals and see if we're a good fit to work together.
Please note that the trial lesson is not suitable for translation requests, exam preparation or interview practice. If you need help with any of these, please book a regular lesson instead.
