I’m Lydie, a Portuguese teacher from the beautiful coastal city of Setúbal. Teaching languages is not just my job — it’s my passion. Portuguese is my native language, and I also speak English, Romanian and some French, so I understand exactly what it feels like to learn a language from scratch.

I enjoy teaching in a non-dogmatic way adapting lessons to each student's style and preferences to make them more relaxed and enjoyable giving the student the freedom to practice speaking from the first classes. I finished the Language course for teaching Portuguese and English at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, in 1988.
