How to say "Happy new year" in Arabic language

First of the all I would like to say "Happy new year" for All, students, learners, and teachers.
Today we will learn how to say "Happy new year"

عَام جَدِيد سَعِيد - A'am gadeed sa'eed - the letter ع = A'

year = A'am عَام

new = gadeed جَدِيد

Happy = sa'eed سَعِيد

We also have another mean for year:
year = sana سَنَة = a'am عام

But what is the deference between sana & a'am ?
سنة sana is year but not good year. year full of bad things.

عام a'am is good year, full of good things

So we wish that 2017 will be good year for all, so we say in Arabic "عام جديد سعيد"

"a'am gadeed sa'eed" "happy new year"

Thanks

I am qualified in teaching Classical Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, and Colloquial Arabic (Egyptian). I enjoy my work tremendously and work with constant drive for achievement. My working circumstances have been varied – working in foreign and Arab institutions, working in teams and alone. With groups, I am often in charge of the project. For me, the i...
