What's the hardest part about learning a new language?

I guess it really depends on language.

Whenever I teach Mandarin, I find most of my students straggled with the pronunciation of Chinese characters.

As a language-learner, I remembered I had hard time to figure out the Grammar part in French.

How about you guys?
