My name is Adil, I am 29 years old and I live in Copenhagen. As a person I am energetic, outgoing, empathetic, independent, structured, curious and happy. Danish is my native language, and I love teaching it to others! I realize that it is a hard language, but have no fear, your favourite Danish teacher is here :) It is important for me to establish a good relationship with my students, so that I can understand their needs, what motivates them and what their learning style is so that I can teach them in the most optimal way. In my teaching there is room for both failure and victory. There is room to be curious and to ask questions. There is room to laugh and play because learning must be fun. And then there is room to be challenged. From my many travels all around the world, I have learned that the best way to learn a new language is by speaking, speaking, speaking! Native Dane with Danish teaching experience from a state language school I am university educated and have been teaching Danish to international students for more than 15 years. I have taught both children and adults with all kinds of educational background, and always put a lot of time and effort into finding out, what method of teaching excites the student. My system is structured, well tested and allows students to start speaking Danish right away. For every lesson there will be a personal lesson plan with the new material, words, tasks, etc. I have experience with the official Danish tests from my time at one of the schools that conducts these tests and can offer a specific preparation program for these. Book a free trial lesson right away and let's get started with Danish! 😊
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am a 28-year-old Dane currently living in Sweden. I inherited my love for Danish and Ancient languages from my paternal grandmother, who was a Danish and History teacher herself for many years. With her, I developed a profound interest in teaching, and when I was about to finish Upper Secondary School, I knew that I wanted to do a Master's in Danish literature and Latin language. I had to study Latin almost on my own because very few people wanted to study it. I often felt stuck and thought about quitting, but I tried to find the patience and I explored different methods in order to learn. As a person, I am very patient, and for me, it is important that you feel comfortable showing me your difficulties and giving your opinion. I have been teaching Danish online for one year. Before that, I worked as a teaching assistant in an undergraduate introductory course in Danish language, culture, and history as part of an internship at Lund University. I have a...
