Hi, my name is Erika and I am from South Africa. I am a qualified teacher with a B.A. Humanities degree, a PGCE and TESOL Certification. I taught in South Africa and Vietnam. I have lived and worked in many different countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, and thus know how it feels to communicate in a language that is unfamiliar. I am available to teach all types of students ranging from beginners to advanced and would love to know why you want to learn English. The lessons will be centered around your goals, whether it is to be able to pass tests, move to an English Speaking country or hold a simple conversation. I aim at keeping lessons relevant to what is going on in society and the world around us. I will work with you to bring you to a point of having fluent conversations about your interests and things relevant to your world. We will work on reading and speaking fluency, grammar, pronunciation and overall understanding of the English Language in the English world. We will w...
Hello! My name is Mr. Kat Rogan. I am a native English speaker from the United States and I have been a professional language trainer for over 14 years for all age groups and levels of learning. I started teaching English in China at Dalian Maritime University in 2006. Since that time I have traveled to many countries, and have met and talked to just about every nationality you can think of. As and traveler, educator, and avid learner, the biggest thing I can say I have discovered about myself during this time: I really love languages and cultures. For me, learning languages and about people and their heritage is the "spice of life." This is what truly drives me to be a better person, keep moving forward, and improve at all levels of my life - every day. It's interesting, during these travels and experiences of the past decade-and-a-half, I have learned how to say basic concepts and greetings in at least 10 languages, which is a lot of fun and a big talking point in my day...

I am an English-Spanish translator and teacher currently living in Spain. I first started teaching at NIU, Illinois, USA, as a Teaching Assistant, and once I graduated from my Master's degree I started to work as a Court interpreter and translator. After a few years I came to Spain, where I am teaching English and Spanish, while I still work as a translator (specialized in Psychology). Being a translator helps me better understand the process of learning a foreign language as an adult, and develop my teaching and language coaching techniques. Let me show you how - let's build your English (or Spanish) skills together and improve what you already have. You will enjoy learning with me! Soy profesora de inglés americano y vivo en España. Empecé dando clase de español en la universidad de NIU, en Illinois, en EEUU, pero me vine para España, donde llevo varios años dando clase de inlgés a españoles. Soy traductora, así que puedo comunicarme en español cuando sea necesario: a veces la tr...

Hi there! My name is Nathaniel Wilson, and I'm a TEFL-trained English teacher from London, UK. I began my teaching journey back in 2016. Now I'm here on Verbling for the purpose of continuing this journey & would love for you to join! Reasons to book me: None of my lessons are the same. I like to be flexible & always try to keep my classes dynamic so that students can improve their understanding of the English language in as many areas as possible. Furthermore, I have a vast collection of study materials that I have used to teach Grammar, Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking for many years, and they have proved to be very effective. At the end of the lesson, I will send over a list of grammatical suggestions/corrections to help you improve your English further. I strongly recommend booking a 30 minute trial lesson first, as I feel it's important to get to know the person on the other side of the screen before committing to a full-length lesson. If you have anymore questions ...
