I have experience teaching German and English to German natives and to foreigners. I also have experience writing and editing texts for publication, and I have corrected many texts written by non-native German speakers on a different language learning website. I can speak English fluently, so I am able to explain finer points of German in that language as well.
I have worked with children deemed "difficult" by others, but I have learned that those labels do not matter and instead try to keep an open mind with every new student and try to help them in their unique situation. I hold a master's degree in German and I'm currently working on my PhD. I also hold a qualification for teaching German as Foreign Language. I have been teaching German for more than five years. In the past I offered German courses for refugees in Germany. Nowadays I mainly teach people from the academic field - for example, university teachers or university students.

Hey there! My name is Carina and I have been teaching German as a foreign language for over 5 years now.
I was born and raised in the south of Germany but moved to Vietnam to teach German and English. At the moment I'm living in Vienna to study Geography.
