I was born in the UK and have been teaching English for almost 20 years. I’ve prepared many students for exams such as IELTS, TOEFL and the main Cambridge exams. I’ve also helped many students prepare for job interviews. I’m a firm believer that learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience so my classes are as dynamic and interactive as possible. My students get plenty of speaking time during which we learn and practise lots of new vocabulary. Any mistakes are corrected and we discuss any necessary grammar points as well as work on pronunciation. For more advanced students it’s important to learn common phrasal verbs and expressions used by native speakers in order to sound more natural. I am a fully qualified English Teacher from Bristol, England. I hold a Masters with Distinction in History from the University of Birmingham and have lectured at Kings College London and University College London (UCL). Prior to this I received full training and certification as a teacher in the UK. I've been teaching for years and I really love it. During my career I've gained lots of experience with all types of students and levels. I've had students who don't know the days of the week all the way up to students studying for the Cambridge Proficiency Exam. Presently, I specialise in the intermediate and advanced levels, helping students to improve their level for professional purposes or to gain certificates to access higher education.
