I am a CELTA qualified, native English speaker with 24 years experience. I have helped thousands of students prepare for all the major exams including Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE and CPE), IELTS, TOEIC, OET and BEC (business). I also offer classes in pronunciation (how to sound like a native speaker), interview preparation, conversation and anything else you need. I have been teaching English online for the last 8 years and have given over 6,000 classes.
I use a variety of resources including past exam papers, online course books and interactive materials. Exam preparation is based on knowing the marking criteria and training for exactly what the examiners want. Some adults require everyday conversation and these sessions, based on dialogue and role-play, are tailor made to their individual needs. My main approach to learning is 'elicitation' (helping you to find the answers yourself) and I believe in the importance of making each lesson interesting, varied and fun, while ensuring th...

My name is Karolina and I have been teaching English to both children and adults for over 26 years in various countries and organizations. With a great deal of blood, sweat and tears and of course, love, I also built my own online English language training company which had always been a dream and goal of mine. Parallel to that, I joined Verbling 7 years ago and continue to love working here! My love and passion for the English language has been a constant in my life and has over the years developed into a deep interest to help as many language learners reach their learning goals as possible.
As an ambassador’s child, I had the privilege and joy of visiting and living in a number of incredible countries and living the life of a nomad! Being born in Switzerland and moving to Canada at the age of 3, English quickly became my native language. My parents, realizing that English would not only be an asset but a necessity growing up in various countries, chose to enroll me in Ameri...

Hello everyone! I am teacher from the USA who is passionate about teaching English as a second language. I always look forward to delivering the best lessons that I can and I always do my best to try and learn from each and every experience.
I graduated from University back in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. From there I decided I wanted to travel a bit and looked at ways in which I could do that. I came across the idea of teaching English as a second language. I decided to get a CELTA certification because I read about how prestigious is is in the ESL world. In 2014 I received my Pass B CELTA certification and was ready to start teaching.
Currently I am progressing my CELTA certification even further by becoming DELTA certified.
In April of 2015 I finally found a job that I felt comfortable with and decided to go for it! I ended up in Arequipa, Peru thinking I was only going to be here for three months. After leaving over a year later, I knew I had found what I wan...
