My name is Alin Garza, and I am from Reynosa, Mexico. I have more than ten years of experience teaching children and adults, including students with special educational needs. I have a degree from the University of Monterrey in Psychology. I have worked as an instructor and curriculum coordinator. I have also worked online as a psychologist and teacher. Beyond studies and experience (which you can read below), what makes a good language teacher? I have no doubts: enthusiasm, empathy, patience and sense of humor. Without these four attributes, any robot could be a better teacher than me, am I right?
I studied a master's degree at University of Barcelona in 2013 and another course at International House in 2014 to specialize as a teacher of Spanish as a second language.
My passion for teaching hasn't done anything else but increasing. I love helping people all over the world to learn the language and to understand my culture. But, above all, both the students and me have fun during the lesson. Learning a language is impossible if you don't feel at ease and happy. Laughing is our most valuable tool to learn.
