Live in a town or in a city?

Hello, in my life I have grown up in a city south of Yucatan in Mexico, it is called Akil. I have also lived 5 years in the capital of this state where the comparison between Mérida and Akil is abysmal. However, I have always preferred the tranquility of my community although sometimes there is no quick access to certain services.
You learn to live in a community and you always appreciate yours roots.
I have also had the opportunity to travel to other countries and I always have the need to return home.
