Hi there! My name is Nathaniel Wilson, and I'm a fully qualified online English teacher based in London, UK. I began my teaching journey 4 years ago not long after passing my 120-hour TEFL course. Now I'm here on Verbling for the purpose of continuing this journey. I have my own material and books that I have used to teach grammar, writing, listening, reading and speaking for many years, and they have proved to be very effective. Here's a list of the main areas my lessons will cover: • General Conversations • Topical Discussions • Listening, Reading and Writing Exercises • Public Speaking • Pronunciation • IELTS Preparation • English Grammar (Vocabulary, Phrasal Verbs, Idioms, etc) • Phonetic Alphabet • Accent Reduction • Study Assistance I strongly recommend booking a 30 minute trial lesson, as I feel it's important to get to know the person on the other side of the screen before committing to a full-length lesson. If you have anymore questions for me, please feel free to send...
Hey Folks, Welcome to my virtual classroom. My name is Jasna and although the continent of Europe is home, I grew up in Melbourne, Australia but spent quite a few of my adult years in Brisbane. I have been teaching English online since 2016 and I love my job. It has been a truly amazing experience meeting people from all over the world and helping them improve their English language skills. My career in Australia was mainly centered around Finance & Administration, including my own business, which means I have had many years of practice perfecting business communication skills. I also have experience with marketing and copywriting. If you are facing any of the internationally recognized English tests such as IELTS, Cambridge, PET or similar, not only have I helped many students prepare for these tests, I have also sat through the IELTS so I can help you with firsthand experience. I don’t follow a set program. Instead, my program for you is based entirely on your individual nee...

I left another career about 9 years ago when my Venezuelan wife and I moved back to her home country, and there I also happily returned to my first career of teaching ESL. I began teaching there at the university level at the Universidad Arturo Michelena, but then realized I felt called to tutoring one student at a time. In March of 2019, at the urging of the US embassy in Venezuela, and suddenly with no internet, my wife and I had to return to the US. The good news for students is that we have 300-330 Mega speed internet with cable so the audio and video are of excellent quality! ---Many of my students were/are preparing for TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, NATO, or Trinity exam...

For the last 20 years I have been involved with international students at high school and university levels. My work has given me a lot of experience in communicating with students and families whose first language is not English. My lessons will always be based on the student's present level and interest. I like to use written examples to help students develop skills in speaking and listening. My personal interests are sports, history, politics, travel, psychology, sociology, academic planning, human relations and personal development.
A native British English speaker, I have been passionate about language learning since school. I studied Modern Languages at university in the UK, and continue to study Spanish, so understand the challenges of language learning from the student's perspective too. I did Cambridge CELTA teacher training at the end of 2016 (after years of informal teaching) and worked for two years in Colombia, with a wide variety of business, university, school and private students. Now back in the UK, I teach international learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and contexts. I love the variety of students and the breadth of teaching skills that entails. I have top qualifications and extensive experience, in general, business and academic English, as well as in Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL international exams. Being a good teacher is all about working with the student to find the personalized way that most effectively helps them grow in confidence and achieve their goals. It’s about connecting...
