Hey there, Passionate about languages, people-minded and goal-driven I am looking forward to teach you a new language or brush up on past knowledge. The language I will be teaching is Dutch ( my mother tongue). I am an experienced tutor, work as a freelance translator and I am also active as a tour guide. In a nutshell : experience, knowledge and people skills are part of my resume and I am looking forward to improve your language skills. For beginners, I have an excellent set-up for you to improve your language skills consistently and rapidly. I teach because it is fun. At secondary school, my friends asked me to help them with math and economics. I started teaching Dutch as a student at university. My pupils were usually business school students. Later on, I moved to a different university, in Nijmegen, and taught subjects like environmental economics, history and Dutch language. After finishing another project at the university, I decided to start my own IT company. As a company owner, I do projects for companies all over the world, including the department of Languages and Cultures at the University of London. Currently, I spend approximately half of my time as a language teacher and half of my time as an IT expert. I have also been working as a voluntary language teacher at a local organization in my city, which helps immigrants to start a new life in their new home country.
