Hi there, I'm Cherelle or Cher for short. I am a native English speaker. I qualified in TEFL in 2012 and I have taught foreign students to speak English on a one to one basis over 8 years. Although not on a platform such as this one. My interactions have been face to face. In my experience, the best way to teach is to get students talking as often as possible by asking questions about themselves and things that interest them. I also find visual aids very helpful. I like my students to be relaxed about learning so I keep the atmosphere light by making things appropriately humorous.
