Hello everyone! I am teacher from the USA who is passionate about teaching English as a second language. I always look forward to delivering the best lessons that I can and I always do my best to try and learn from each and every experience. I graduated from University back in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. From there I decided I wanted to travel a bit and looked at ways in which I could do that. I came across the idea of teaching English as a second language. I decided to get a CELTA certification because I read about how prestigious is is in the ESL world. In 2014 I received my Pass B CELTA certification and was ready to start teaching. Currently I am progressing my CELTA certification even further by becoming DELTA certified. In April of 2015 I finally found a job that I felt comfortable with and decided to go for it! I ended up in Arequipa, Peru thinking I was only going to be here for three months. After leaving over a year later, I knew I had found what I wan...

A native British English speaker, I have been passionate about language learning since school. I studied Modern Languages at university in the UK, and continue to study Spanish, so understand the challenges of language learning from the student's perspective too. I did Cambridge CELTA teacher training at the end of 2016 (after years of informal teaching) and worked for two years in Colombia, with a wide variety of business, university, school and private students. Now back in the UK, I teach international learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and contexts. I love the variety of students and the breadth of teaching skills that entails. I have top qualifications and extensive experience, in general, business and academic English, as well as in Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL international exams. Being a good teacher is all about working with the student to find the personalized way that most effectively helps them grow in confidence and achieve their goals. It’s about connecting...

My name is Douglas Hill I am a NE Ohio native and I was born in the City of Canton (just 1 hour South of Cleveland, OH). I am a two time Masters Certificate TEFL Teacher. I also am a beginner Spanish speaker and an intermediate French speaker. I am definitely a lover of all languages!! In fact, I personally hope to learn more languages. Since the graduation of my 2nd TEFL Course, literally 2 days later (after I had accepted a position), I found myself driving to a brand new city named: San Luis Potosi. This is a city that I had never heard of. But, I was very excited to be able to utilize my own innate teaching skills as well as use the new information that the language school in Puerto Vallarta taught me. Both the language school and my new job experiences have been great!! I have...
