I have been teaching French since 2007, and since 2016 I have delivered 9,000+ hours of one-to-one online lessons. Over the years, I have developed and refined my own teaching materials, designed for learners at every level, from complete beginners to advanced students. I also use the most advanced AI tools to identify recurring errors, pinpoint each student’s specific difficulties, and create tailored exercises based on their individual needs. I also prepare candidates for the TEF, TCF, DELF, and DALF exams. I trained as a TEF examiner in 2012 and also served as an official examiner for the exam. Keep in mind that simply speaking French for an hour is not always enough to make real progress. You need to identify what is holding you back, work specifically on the areas that are causing difficulty, and gradually incorporate more natural expressions and sentence patterns until they become spontaneous. I also place particular emphasis on pronunciation. I have spent a great deal of...

I'm 47 years old, French, I have an engineering degree as well as a master in finance. I worked in the oil and gas in France until 2009. I've been living in Brazil for more than 10 years now and I teach French to 3 main types of students : people how learn the language for pleasure (normally I have had these students for years), candidates for the diplomatic career (CACD), and candidates to the DALF/DELF. With all of them, the exchange in the class in French is the base of a good progress as it helps to fix the language and understand the logic of the language. Whatever the level of the student is, I aim at having a discussion to incorporate the vocabulary, the grammatic, we're studying. After the lesson, I always send a summary of what we studied and homeworks.

"Il n'y a pas de hasards, il n'y a que des rendez-vous" (Paul Eluard) Hello, my name is Rodolphe, I am a French teacher. I lived and taught in Paris for a long time, but today I teach in a foreign country, in a famous French Institute. My program is widely inspired by the CEFR, the Common European Framework for language teaching, which has essentially an action-oriented approach to this learning. "Action" means, for the learner, to be faced with real-life situations, of daily life, like shopping, talking about the weather, expressing an emotion for example. The program that I set up for face-to-face in e-learning is based on a very large number of audio and written documents, drawn from different methods that I use daily to teach French in Lisbon. Working on these documents will allow you to be plunged in real-life situations, as if you were in a French-speaking country. Depending on the student’s project, I can target a specific skill, such as preparing for the DELF- DALF, im...
