My name is Julijana and I am a native Croatian speaker. I obtained my double BA degree in Spanish and German language and literature and a double MA degree in Teaching German as a foreign language and in Spanish-Croatian Translation. At the University Nebrija in Madrid I was enrolled in an MA program of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, taking part in numerous specializations and teacher trainings.
Since I am a Croatian native speaker, I’ve adapted my knowledge of foreign language teaching to the teaching of my mother tongue, so I also give Croatian classes to foreigners. My fluency and knowledge of English, Spanish and German can be useful to you, since you can get one to one Croatian class taught in these languages.
I come from a region that uses standard Croatian dialect, but I have also lived in other Croatian regions so I know different dialects that I can teach you if you have a preference for a specific one 😊
I try to adapt my classes to the individual, so we can focus exactly on what you need and want the most, whether it be grammar, conversation or vocabulary. I like my classes to be fun and relaxed, including videos, podcasts and quizzes.
I attended graduate courses: Didactics of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and I took the following courses: Didáctica de la competencia gramatical (Didactics of Spanish Grammar); Pragmática y competencia intercultural (Pragmatics and intercultural competence); Metodología AICLE en la enseñanza de ELE (Methodology of bilingual teaching in teaching Spanish as a foreign language -"CLIL" Method
