I'm a certified CRKBO(Central Register Short Professional Education) teacher. I'm a native speaker, and have been teaching Dutch for 14 years. I have worked for several Dutch language training schools like Elycio Talen, Taleninstituut and Easy Dutch with students from all over the world. My methods: I always try to first focus on the pronunciation and work our way up from there, because I think that you can't build a good house without a steady foundation.. Of course I always emphasise talking in my lessons, because it's only through using the language, that you will truly improve. I try to get my students as close to the native accent as possible, while giving them extensive explanation about the grammar or even doing some grammar drills, if necessary. Hi! My name is Rignald and I am an online Dutch teacher. I am a Dutch native speaker currently living in Florence, Italy. I have a Master of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Learning foreign languages has always been my biggest passion. I have been teaching online for the past seven years for several language schools using different teaching platforms. I have had students from all over the world with different starting levels and objectives. My teaching approach, which is fully tailored based on the student's level and needs, is comparable to that of a child learning how to speak, meaning that the student learns grammatical rules by reading simple texts. Oral exercises play a key role during my lessons as they allow the student to achieve the correct pronunciation, and, as a consequence, to comprehend the spoken language faster.

Hello, after graduating I decided to see the world. I travelled and worked my way around the globe for 15 years, but that all came to an end in 2015 when I fell in love with the sweet Mexican girl. I moved to Mexico, became a teacher and discovered that I love teaching. Besides teaching 2000 online classes, I also have years of experience of teaching in schools and I have been trained in teaching NT2 by the university of Leuven. I adjust my classes to the needs of my students. For beginners, I use a structured approach with a emphasis on speaking and communication. But if you are preparing for an exam, job interview or are mainly interested in improving your communication skills, the classes will take on a very different form.
