About Me
Welkom op mijn profiel!
First of all, feel free to check out my teaching page on instagram: www.instagram.com/flemish.with.chris
So you want to learn the Dutch of Belgium (= Flemish)? Maybe you've found the love of your life in Belgium. Or you want to get more involved in the local life and build deeper friendships by connecting with your friends in their native language. Or you just like how the language sounds and want to master it.
I'd be happy to help. My linguistic Bachelor's and Master's degree will help me in the process of helping you, while at the same time keeping it informal and fun :)
At this moment, I'm giving two types of lessons:
1) Complete beginners. For you, I made a full self-paced video course with all the necessary materials to get you from level zero to the end of A2. Concretely you will be using that course as learning material (at a discounted price)—because I would be teaching you that same theory anyway, so it's more economical for you and more efficient to use prerecorded videos. In our live lessons, we will go through your questions, check your progress and put your newly acquired knowledge into practice. Book a trial lesson to discuss more.
2) Upper-intermediate to advanced students with a foundation in Dutch. I want to make it more interesting for both of us by going a level deeper than small talk. We will implement practices from 'authentic relating', which will allow you to practice speaking about your inner world. This will both advance you in your Dutch language competence ánd build the skill to talk about feelings and connect heart to heart with others in any language you speak. Sounds good? I'm excited to meet you and am waiting to increase your Dutch flow :)
Tot snel.
